Connections

We have always understood that prayer is a way that we connect with God, but as church members our prayers are another way we can connect with one another.

Church and Family

In our new series about the church, we will ask this question during each lesson: “What does a church member do?” This week we talk about how a church member teaches children to be like Jesus.

Solid Food

In our relationship with God, we are constantly growing and maturing. Jesus grew, and that is another way we want to be like Him.

Church In Action

In our new series about the church, we will ask this question during each lesson: “What does a church member do?” This week we talk about how a church member has an active faith that is characterized by serving, giving and sacrifice.

Perception

After learning more about the people we are sharing the good news with, we take a difficult look at what they think about Christians. Overcoming that perception is essential to spreading the gospel.

It’s Not About Me

In our new series about the church, we will ask this question during each lesson: “What does a church member do?” This week we talk about how a church member follows the example of Jesus to be a humble servant by putting God and others above his or her own preferences.

Fields

Often when we consider the task of telling others about Jesus, we only think about His story. In today’s world, it is helpful to understand the story of those we are sharing with too. Sharing the good news begins with loving that includes listening.

Working Together

In our new series about the church, we will ask this question during each lesson: “What does a church member do?” This week we talk about how a church member works together with other church members in love, unity and peace.

He Wants Them Found

God has a concern for the lost that is evident throughout scripture. Jesus even says he came “to seek and save the lost.” (Luke 19:10) As disciples who are called to make disciples, we must have that same desire to help the lost be found.

Now Let’s Get to Work

If sharing the story of Jesus is something every Christian should do, why do so few Christians do it regularly? We will look this week at some of the reasons why and where we might begin to do things differently.
