Tents and Food Distributed in Port au Prince

David and Sarah were in Port au Prince the week of February 15 and distributed tents, beans and rice to 300 families through local congregations. David and Sarah and 7500 pounds of beans and rice traveled from Cap Haitien to Port au Prince.
Dennis Cady from the Faith Village church of Christ in Wichita Falls, TX and Tim Burrow from the Sunset International Bible Institute joined David and Sarah in Port au Prince to help with the distribution. The group was able to distribute the tents and food supplies through the Varreux congregation and other local congregations in Port au Prince. One of the local ministers, Jean Yves Desmosthene, sent an email to David thanking him for the tents and food. He sent a picture of one of the families that received a tent and said, "I sent a picture of the tent to let you understand how this family with children are safe and cared for."
